Previous work experience as a Barista

Comfortable working alone in this skill

Hands-on experience with coffee machines and brewing equipment.

Experience with basic food preparation (i.e. pastries) and coffee drinks.

Knowledge of health and sanitation regulations.

Basic math skills and computer skills. Previous POS system experience preferred.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.

Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including: walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods.
